The Coastal Inspiration
This is one of BC Ferries' big, brand-new 'coastal class' ferries. This particular ferry, called the Coastal Inspiration, entered service just six weeks before this picture was taken. It can carry well over 1,500 passengers and almost 400 vehicles. It currently operates on the Duke Point (Nanaimo) to Tsawwassen route, linking Vancouver Island and the BC mainland.
