This is the so-called family room. It is a very large compound room situated on the lower level of the house. This is where we usually stay when we visit Avellino. In this room is a 14-seat dining table, a grill, fireplace, kitchenette, and lounge area, along with a couple of beds and a bathroom. The shuttered windows open out onto the grounds at the rear of the building.
