this dramatic picture from Luc shows Ewart far down at the bottom of the snow slope just as he came to a stop after his uncontrolled slide. Of note are the two snowslide tracks: the one in the immediate foreground being Caroline's from her smaller fall just minutes before, and the one more to the left, which is from Ewart's slide. Both Caroline (the red splotch) and Ewart (a smaller darker splotch to the lower left of her) are visible.
