On the way down, we meet a large band of Italian hikers at the Fontana del Orso. They are headed up to the bivacco on the summit (although it seems a bit late and they have a long long way to go to get there). They are extremely friendly and generous and share sips of their excellent drinks, some of which have real kick! (nudge nudge, wink wink).
