Recent Updates

March 18, 2008: CBC's Land and Sea has just aired a documentary about Dan and Sue, and Roland's search for them. A link to the video stream of the episode is available from here.

December 2005: added some photos taken by Parks Canada from their helicopter. The photos are embedded on page five of the main search expedition report. You can go directly to them by clicking here. Also new are some very neat google-based satellite maps with our actual track and with icons where photos were taken. You can see these at the bottoms of pages three, four, five, and seven of the main search expedition report.

July 2005: avid Canoeist George Luste and friends install Dan and Sue's parents' memorial plaque. A short writeup with pictures is available here.

Feb 19, 2005: a CTV W-FIVE documentary on Dan and Sue's story was shown. Here is the link to the article from that documentary, as well as four 15-minute streaming video clips of the show. (CTV is a Canadian television station).
