(Dollhouse to Waterhole Flat)

This section is simply a set of images documenting our drive out on the Land of Standing Rocks Jeep road, from the Dollhouse to Waterhole Flat. All of the comments made on page 4 and page 5 (the account of the way in on this road) apply here (but in reverse, of course). Think of this page as a sort of 'supplement' to those pages.

The Ledge is a Road

There are several places like this in Teapot Canyon, where the road basically is on a solid ledge of sandstone. Usually these ledge sections converge in on small drainages, which is where the really rough stuff is. [enlarge]
