Upon re-crossing the burned area, we got even more spectacular views of the lower great range, because almost all of the clouds had lifted. Simply wonderful, the views were today!

Our descent went quickly from the burn area down to the AMR Lake Road, and by 2:15pm we were back at the car, disappointed to have failed to summit any winter 46ers but glad to have been out in such great weather and with such scenic views.
