The art of wind
The recent deep freeze meant that the lakes provided excellent passage past some (in the summer) very rough trails.

Ewart nearing leanto
We arrive at the uphill leanto around noon, and take a quick break. From here, we strike offtrail towards cliff mountain. Ewart has been on the route before, and I have an understanding of the route myself, so we are hopeful.
