After climbing down quite a ways, the route bottoms out in a narrow gully and then starts a steep climb back out, on a long and vertical ladder. Following this are some horizontal ledges, and then the route turns back into trail for a while, curving more eastward as it goes. There are some airy views down to the Rifugio Brentei, which is directly below you.

The ferrata then resumes, and the route descends in a gully down to a memorial plaque, which marks the southern end of the route. From here, it is a short walk down to the junction of 305b and 323. Turn right on trail 323, and you descend in short order to the Rifugio Brentei.

From the rifugio Brentei, it is a roughly 5km walk down trail 318/317 to the Vallesinella parking lot. As you descend, you'll find that the upper part of 318 has nice views.
