Wright Peak

Wright Peak is a great summit. Although only 4580 feet high, it has an extensive above-treeline area (many other higher ADK peaks have no alpine terrain at all). The summit has a nice alpine feel to it, and views from it are excellent: Algonquin is right next door and much higher, and the views towards Colden and Marcy are also excellent. Another bonus (for some, anyway) is that it is only a few short miles from the Adirondak Loj parking area to the summit. For this reason Wright's summit is often busy.
