Blake is one of several peaks along the ridge that culminates with Mount Colvin. Although it is less than 4000 feet, it was historically considered over 4k and so is still considered part of the official list of 46. One can reach Blake from the southeast, via Elk Lake, or from the northeast (requires a traverse over Mount Colvin). Blake's summit is.... well, let's just say not that interesting. There are no views to speak of, and no summit sign. The trail from Colvin is rough and tricky in spots.
