This is a short web blurb on a weekend sail that Roland invited us on in early June of 2004. Roland has a 24.7 foot Tanzer sailboat, which Roland works meticulously at maintaining (His list of to-do items is truly impressive). The plan was to sail to some point up towards Lake Ontario, anchor for the night, and return the next morning. We had more-or-less perfect weather (maybe the winds a bit light). Along for the ride were myself, Roland, Kim, and Markus.

We tacked several times through the headwind on the way to Kingston, which was fun and instructive. Excellent views of Kingston and its nearby historic sites while doing this.
