This Image gallery is a collection of pictures and descriptions of my Mother's hometown and of the some of the Perugini family. Avellino is a small-to-medium sized city in the province of Campania, not far from Naples, Vesuvius, Pompeii, and the Amalfi Coast. The city sits in a wide green valley in the Irpinia uplands, surrounded by typical southern Appenine mountains, which are of medium height.
The pictures in this image gallery date from 2001.
